Richard Buxton is a star fund manager, a recognisable name in the UK fund management industry and a highly regarded stock-picker. For these reasons we were very pleased to welcome him to our Mayfair office recently, where we let Director, Investment Strategy Ben Seager-Scott loose to ask Buxton some probing questions on the state of the UK economy, the price of oil and the potential rise in interest rates.

Watch our insightful video to discover more, and also to find out why Buxton has decided to take a position in Tesco once again after selling in 2010, when he was at Schroders.

Buxton’s Old Mutual UK Alpha is a fund that our research team rates four stars, which means we have a strong conviction in it. Is this a fund you might consider for your ISA or SIPP portfolio?
