After a challenging month for global markets in October, the positive vaccine news and US election results boosted investor sentiment and market returns over the month of November. 

In this edition

  • Against this backdrop, global equity markets were notably strong, with developed equity markets outperforming Asian and Emerging Market equities.
  • The risk-on sentiment was reflected across asset class returns, with oil prices rising and high yield outperforming in fixed income.
  • The perceived safe havens, such as gold and government bonds, underperformed over the month.
