This trust is comprised of the high conviction ideas from the Midas team who have had success managing similarly structured open ended vehicles. The portfolio adopts a progressive dividend policy with the aim of getting a balance of income and capital growth at lower levels of volatility. This is achieved by investing across a range of asset classes via collectives and direct equities. The management is incentivised to deliver absolute returns of 8% p.a after the application of a high water mark, although there is no guarantee they will do so.
