Investment Process

The investment process is aimed at gaining company exposures to the following themes: alternative energy, energy efficiency, water infrastructure and technologies, pollution control, waste management and technologies, environmental support services and sustainable food, agriculture and forestry. The investible universe consists of around 2,000 global equities which derive at least 50% of revenues from one of the themes. This is reduced to an “A List” of around 350 stocks through fundamental analysis. Finally a portfolio of 50-65 stocks is built from the A List. There are no set weights to each theme, but the managers use the market backdrop for each sector to test the conviction of stock ideas and upside value.
