Investment Process

The fund's aim is to out-perform the IA Cautious Managed Sector via a combination of income and long term capital growth derived from a mix of asset classes. It will invest in a range of assets, with the maximum equity exposure restricted to 60%. The fund will invest predominantly in other Regulated Collective Investment Schemes. It may have both UK and non-UK investments and, in addition to units in collective investment schemes, may also invest directly in transferable securities (shares, including investment trusts, debentures, government and public securities, warrants or certificates representing certain securities), money market instruments, cash and near cash, deposits and gold.
