Twentyfour Dynamic Bond - New rating

TwentyFour is an LLP established in 2008 and owned in its entirety by 7 partners. The team has an average of 18 years experience in fixed income markets. The TwentyFour Dynamic Bond fund represents their flagship best ideas mandate. It will invest predominantly in pan European corporate bonds including residential mortgage backed securities, where the team has particular expertise.

No more than 50% of the fund’s NAV will be invested in high yield debt, interest rate risk will also be actively managed. For performance purposes the fund sits in the IMA Strategic bond peer group category.

The fund has experienced a volatile ride since launch in 2010 as a result of a core holding in subordinated financial debt, however we believe the recent actions of European Central Bank have significantly reduced tail risks to this sector.

The fund also remains small relative to peer group competitors enabling it to effectively exploit credit specific opportunities against a market backdrop characterised by poor liquidity. The fund is awarded a four star rating.

Bonds issued by major governments and companies will be more stable that those issued by emerging markets or smaller corporate issuers; in the event of an issuer experiencing financial difficulty, there may be a risk to some or all of the capital invested. Please note that historical or current yields should not be considered reliable indicator of future performance.

Different funds carry varying levels of risk depending on the geographical region and industry sector in which they invest. You should make yourself aware of these specific risks prior to investing. We aim to provide investors with information to help them make their own investment decisions although this should not be construed as advice or an investment recommendation.

If you are unsure about the suitability of an investment or if you need advice on your specific requirements, we strongly suggest that you consider professional financial advice.

The value of investments, and the income derived from them, can go down as well as up and you can get back less than you originally invested. Prevailing tax rates and reliefs are dependent on your individual circumstances and are subject to change.
