Pension Week

Book a pension review

What is Pension Week?

Each year we hold Pension Week to encourage everyone to take the time to review their pensions and take action where needed.

We hold Pension Week because pensions are hugely important but they’re also something that many of us avoid dealing with until we absolutely have to. So in this strange year, with a lack of fun pastimes to distract us, how about seizing the moment and spending some time with your pension this week?

We’re offering free pension reviews to guide you, you’ll find lots of other information here and, as usual, we’re on the other end of the phone to answer your questions.

Why book a pension review?

Because it’s the easy way to review your pensions. All you need to do is get together your paperwork and think about any questions you have. One of our pension experts will then go through these with you. We can’t give you advice on what to do but we can certainly help you make informed decisions. And if you do decide you need pension advice, our financial planners over at Tilney are raring to help.

Speak to a pension expert

Get in touch if you have any questions or need some help with your pensions:

*Before you consider transferring a pension, it is important to ask yourself: Will I lose any valuable benefits or features from my existing pension plan? Will I incur any penalties on my existing pension if I transfer? Is it an occupational final salary pension scheme? (in which case it is very unlikely to be advisable to transfer) Have I considered the charges on my current plan? (a new arrangement may be more expensive – especially if you have a stakeholder pension).

**SIPPs are not suitable for everyone. They may not be right for you if you don’t want to invest across different asset classes or don’t think you will make use of the investment choices available to you. Please contact us for guidance or advice if you are unsure.
