Low-cost SIPP charges

Fees and other costs for the Best SIPP

With a long-term investment like a pension, charges can eat into your returns and reduce the amount of money you have left for retirement. We keep our charges low and offer one of the lowest-cost SIPPs available, while also giving you the freedom and choice to build a pension that suits your needs.

Tiered SIPP service fees – 0.3% a year or less

We have a tiered structure for our Best SIPP annual management charges, so you pay a lower percentage for larger investments.

Pension value Tiered fee (per SIPP account)
Up to £250,000 0.3% a year
£250,000 - £1 million 0.2% a year
Over £1 million Free

There is also a £100 + VAT annual administration fee which is payable in four quarterly instalments. We don't charge this fee on our Child SIPP.

Great value for money

It is free to open a Best SIPP account or transfer pensions from elsewhere. We’ll also pay you up to £500 towards any exit fees your current providers charge*. There is nothing to pay for fund dealing and no initial charges on almost all funds. We make all of our fees clear so when you invest with us you can see exactly what you are paying for.

*Subject to terms and conditions. Exit fees may apply if you close your Best SIPP.

**Before you consider transferring a pension, it is important to ask yourself: Will I lose any valuable benefits or features from my existing pension plan? Will I incur any penalties on my existing pension if I transfer? Is it an occupational final salary pension scheme? (in which case it is very unlikely to be advisable to transfer) Have I considered the charges on my current plan? (a new arrangement may be more expensive – especially if you have a stakeholder pension).

SIPPs are not suitable for everyone. They may not be right for you if you don’t want to invest across different asset classes or don’t think you will make use of the investment choices available to you. Please contact us for guidance or advice if you are unsure.
