While young people are encouraged to save and invest for their futures, where do they actually learn how to do this? Personal finance isn’t covered in any depth at school and the internet is awash with overly technical content, get-rich-quick schemes and the like. To help plug this gap, our sister company Bestinvest is rolling out a range of resources for beginner investors. This has kicked off with a series of lessons covering topics such as:
- What is investing and why would I want to invest?
- What can I invest in?
- Building an investment portfolio
- Risk and regulation
These lessons will soon be joined by a series of animated videos, a beginner blog and podcast. All Bestinvest resources are free to use and share so if you know anyone who would benefit, just send them over to Bestinvest.
